UFC Legend Conor McGregor Sends Trump a Startling Tweet
President Donald Trump appears to have won over a former critic in the form of Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter Conor McGregor who gave the president a shout out via social media.
McGregor’s praise was in reply to the president’s tweet about his three-year anniversary in office:
"It was exactly three years ago today, January 20, 2017, that I was sworn into office," Trump wrote on Monday. "So appropriate that today is also MLK jr DAY. African-American Unemployment is the LOWEST in the history of our Country, by far. Also, best Poverty, Youth, and Employment numbers, ever. Great!"
The famed UFC fighter replied to the president:
"Phenomenal President. Quite possibly the USA [Greatest of All Time]," McGregor wrote.
"Most certainly one of them anyway, as he sits atop the shoulders of many amazing giants that came before him. No easy feet. Early stages of term also. Incredible."
He added, "Congrats and Happy Martin Luther King Jr. day America."
Trump appeared to bask in the love from he-man McGregor replying to the Twitter attention early on Tuesday morning saying, "Congratulations on your big @UFC WIN!"
