Kaepernick calls United States "Terrorist" in Racially Charged Tweet

Former San Francisco 49ers player Colin Kaepernick weighed in on the United States controversial decision to strike back against Iran, citing what he called “American terrorist attacks,” in a racially charged tweet.

While the United States' decision to strike the leader of the Iranian forces stirred controversy among those on the left, President Donald Trump has since doubled down saying that, “They attacked us, & we hit back. If they attack again, which I would strongly advise them not to do, we will hit them harder than they have ever been hit before!”

Kaepernick’s rise to fame hinged on his decision to kneel during the national anthem, a decision that prompted the players from almost every team in the National Football League to follow suit in a silent protest of traditional American values.

The social justice warrior’s career was cut off soon after, but his protest of the anthem lived on with players across his league as well as with other sports.
