Senator Cory Booker Drops Out of Presidential Race
Sen. Cory Booker D-NJ announced today Monday 1 13 2020 he will be ending his Presidential campaign due to dismal polling numbers, terrible fund raising efforts and in my opinion a general dislike by the American people.
Cory Booker has taken many hits throughout his political career that have manifested throughout his Presidential campaign. A story Booker wrote about sexually assaulting young girls and touching their breasts even when they said no, proved to be damaging. Cory Booker had a trust problem as many Americans point to his political grandstanding for partisan politics over the good of the people or the fact he was exposed for taking the most money of any Senator from Big Pharma even though he spoke and rallied against them.
The American people have become aware and political gimmicks will no longer carry the funding or trust they once did. Playing the race card was always a favorite of Senator Booker although his record of action providing sustainable results for minorities is dismal at best. Cory Booker never did get his groove or the funding to support a run to beat someone like President Donald Trump!
He said in his statement. “It’s with a full heart that I share this news — I’ve made the decision to suspend my campaign for president,” Booker wrote to supporters in an email directly. “It was a difficult decision to make, but I got in this race to win, and I’ve always said I wouldn’t continue if there was no longer a path to victory. "Our campaign has reached the point where we need more money to scale up and continue building a campaign that can win — money we don’t have, and money that is harder to raise because I won’t be on the next debate stage and because the urgent business of impeachment will rightly be keeping me in Washington,” the senator added. “So I’ve chosen to suspend my campaign now, take care of my wonderful staff, and give you time to consider the other strong choices in the field.”
Senator Cory Booker dropping out is a strong sign that the American people do not want more establishment political rhetoric, we have moved on and want a President who does what he says through not only his words but through his actions!!
